Common questions about relationship therapy

Relational sessions are sessions with more than one person, but the “client” is the relationship between the persons.
These sessions will focus on getting to know who each person is individually and who they are within the relationship.
These sessions aim to honor the perspectives off all persons in the room, while simultaneously working together to identify and adapt any cycles that are keeping the relationship stuck.

This varies greatly from person to person.
For some, a few sessions is enough.
For others, they desire a longer-term therapeutic journey.In terms of relational therapy, 6+ months is not uncommon.
However, I cannot give a precise estimate without meeting you, but please rest assured that I do my best to keep communication open as we work towards your goals.

The best predicting factor of change in therapy is client motivation for change. If you are motivated to create change, it will come! I would love to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
When considering relationships, motivation may not be equal on all sides—this is normal. Ideally, through work in therapy, the levels of motivation will eventually align and progress will accelerate.
